One day before the crucial match against Andorra that will decide whether they stay in the Primera Federación, Barça Atlètic posed for their traditional official team photo at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
Before the morning session at the Ciutat Esportiva, the squad put on this season’s kit and faced the cameras. Club president Joan Laporta led the photo, joined by head coach Sergi Milà and his staff.
Also present were Barça Atlètic president Jordi Casals, the board member in charge of youth football Joan Soler, youth football director José Ramón Alexanco, youth football coordinator Toni Hernández, and Zigor Alexanco, fitness coordinator hin the Methodology Department.
Training for Saturday
Once the photo shoot was done, the reserves completed their final training session for Saturday’s clash with Andorra (kick-off 4pm CEST). Knowing a win is essential to escape the relegation zone, and buoyed by four victories in their last six games, the players and staff are pushing hard to claim three vital points at home. It will not be easy: Andorra are third and chasing a spot in the promotion play-off.
Call to the fans
With only three league fixtures left, Barça Atlètic’s survival hopes hinge on support from the fans. Club members can collect a free ticket either on the club website or at the Estadi Johan Cruyff ticket office from two hours before kick-off.
A special promotion is active for non-members: anyone buying three or more tickets can use the promo code FCB50 to get 50% off.
